LSU in the Sugar will not generate more money in NOLA...LSU fans wouldn't generally stay in the hotels or fly in.
I would prefer the Rose over the Sugar for the following reasons: 1. No SEC team has been since 1946 2. Cool road trip. I like going to new places 3. The match up will be much better. USC or Mich 4. I could care less about ND. They are not respected by any real college football fan. Plus it would be an expected win that really doesn't help us. 5. Better national exposure And most importantly... I already have my game tickets and flight and hotel booked.
Cal is #18 in the BCS. Worst case is Wake Forest, OU, Rutgers/WVU, and Arkansas loses. I think in the case of OU losing, Nebraska jumps Cal. I also don't think Arkansas goes below 14, even with a loss, unless they are blown out. It would something just short of a miracle for Cal to get to 14. So just to be safe, we need 1 win from either OU, Arkansas (or just lose close), or Wake Forest.
