    NIL is going to be the downfall of college football. Initially, I was a huge supporter of NIL but with no guidelines, it's become a complete disaster. Some of these players are already making more than most of the assistants coaching them and it's only a matter of time before players start refusing to work with certain assistants because they don't like how they're being spoken to and demand a coaching change or they're going to transfer out. Former Auburn DL Hunter Lee recently commented that he transferred to UCF because Harsin didn't speak to the players appropriately. What? Clearly, Lee couldn't have played for the some of the coaches I've had in the past! These players today have become soft and with NIL gaining momentum, players are going to begin to dictate who the coaches are and that includes the HC. I think we need to brace for some major changes in college football because the power is clearly shifting to the players' side.
