1. We should play the starters until we're up by 2-3 scores. Then put in the backups and let them practice the passing game. I hate when they switch QB's to let the backup just hand the ball off 25 times. Let Flynn get some in-game reps. If UNT scores at all, it will be very late in the ball game. I'm not trying to take them for granted, but we've already been through the meat of the schedule. Should be a yawner.
  2. LSU is the largest favorite of any game this weekend...LSU by 44...nice
  3. I am hoping the first half looks like the LSU Louisiana Tech game in 03 ....49-0 before half
  4. The starters will play most of the 1st half, depending on whether we are spanking NT like we should. The starters may play one series in the 2nd half to establish tempo, and then Miles will begin freely substituting. He needs to get the younger guys in there for some quality minutes. It was clear late in the 4Q of Miss St that the younger guys need more minutes on the field. These next 2 weeks are great times to get some good PT and coaching for them.
  5. Gameplan:

Open 2 Large cans of Whoopass.
    Poor into large mixing bowl.
    Add 6 Offensive TD's.
    Add 1 Defensive TD.
    Add 1 Special Teams TD.
    Add 3 Field Goals.
Blend until there are no Turnovers.
    Feed to Mean Green.
  6. there are few things more annoying than people dragging up Troy and UAB everytime someone looks past an opponent.. This UNT team is not either of those teams... Last year's troy and the 2000 UAB teams were probably the best teams those schools have ever had... this year is a down year for UNT.. they will be lucky to finish in the top half of the SBC...
  7. LaTech was up 27-0 at the half on UNT. Let the starters play the first half and hang 35+ on them, then play all the backups in the 2nd half.

Flynn should get all the snaps in the 2nd half...
