1. I'm hoping by mid second quarter we will have enough of a lead to take our starters out. No coach ever puts his team on the field with every single starter benched... Besides, the practice of getting our rhythms together is still something we could use.

JaMarcus & the WRs are the main thing I'd like to see worked on for our game plan against UNT. I definitely want to see Hester get the ball a few times.
  2. I agree, this is kinda my desired gameplan.
  3. Our starters definitely need to play, we can work out some kinks in this game.
  4. I agree 100%... As much as I would like them to rest, we need to get a 28 pt lead or so 1st...

While this team may be bad, they still do have 2 VERY good rb's and we didn't stop the run real well Saturday...

    With that being said:

    55-7 LSU
  5. Our starters need to play at least the first 3 quarters. We can sit them next week again App. St. However, if Russell is still hurt he shouldn't play at all. The best medicine for a wrist injury is rest.
  6. Treat it like a NFL preseason game: offensive starters play at most 2 series, all starters out by early 2nd quarter.
  7. frontin and maxin
  8. remember Troy State? :dis:

I bet Miles plays the starters. for a while at least.
  9. The score will obviously dictate how long the starters stay in. If they are still in after halftime I may have to dig out the defibulator. :D
  10. Hang 60, because that's what top 10 teams do against programs like this.
