Yes he does play in special teams like a lot of players but I've never seen him take snaps as a QB, I saw him a couple of time making reverses, but that's it. Doucet is a pure WR just like Bowe and Davis.
He has taken direct snaps this season. I believe only one game but I can't remember which one off the top of my head.
sorry but Bowe has NEVER taking a snap at QB, or returned a Kick. Pure WR is Bowe,Lafell...Davis has returned punts multiple times last year. Doucet will still be use in a multi-purpose roll not a pure WR.
The thing is that all our WR's had the ability to run in open fields, actually, they were the best in the nation in this aspect. That's why they were used as KRs and PRs. So they were WRs who could do returns for us, but I just cant see that happen with trindon because of his height, he'll be a tailback and a special team player, and he'll probably line up in the slots for faking or reversing.
Doucet definitely took a couple of direct snaps this year. It became glaringly obvious when Russell lined up at wide reciever. Doucet played QB in high school, so I guess it's a good fit.
It happened in a couple of games, maybe even three. Can't recall which ones, unfortunately. I remember it happening at least once at home and at least once on the road.
