I won't be able to stay in either of the Laville dorms due to them being Honors dorms. I hear that Annie Boyd is nice, except the tour guide said that it is pretty much all upperclassmen in that dorm. Anyone read The Reveille today? It says that there will only be 1,500 tickets sold for the SECGC. I can't wait for freshmen year... Lata, Crackle
You know what, I don't remember what room I was in. I know it was the second floor and I know where it is in the building but I don't remember the number. I think may 213 or something. I lived right by the resident on my floor and he was cool. We would always be playing N64 of whatever.
I was in Power dorm, it was pretty wild most of the time. Things might have changed since then, but it was only the early 90's so I doubt things have changed that much. tiger-will is right though, you just have to go to school there to understand.
Power Dorm? They must have changed the name since then because I don't see that hall listed anywhere. Also, is it against dorm rules to house specific beverages in your refrigerator? ( If you know what I mean.. ) I think I'm going to stay in a dorm for the first year and then head on over to an apartment. I haven't gottten a chance to see the apartments yet, but from what I hear, they are very nice. Lata, Crackle
They changed the name of Power dorm? They didn't demolish it, did they? I had a fridge in my dorm room, and it had in it exactly what you are talking about . . . I don't really remember going into a room that didn't. I was in a dorm for a year, then I moved into an apt. Over my many years at LSU I must have lived in about 8 different apts before landing one near State street (stayed there my last 3 years and for about a half a year after graduating). It really hasn't been that long since I graduated, but I do miss it, mostly around college football season. It's a shame all those classes had to get in the way of a great time.
