First round draft pick :geaux: Don't know if Lavalais is a junior or not, but he will definitely be a first round draft pick for those Sunday guys.:lsug:
If we are talking old school then i will tell you my two favorite players from LSU. Bert Jones QB Tommy Cassanova DB I like Saban alot but old Charley Mac is still my favorite coach. I still get out my Archie Who At LSU 45 and play it sometimes. Geaux Tigers
Archie Who, Archie Who, You were Tiger Bait At the end the scoreboard read LSU 61, Ole Miss 17. Manning tried to run the middle and he tried to run around end, And he tried to throw that football Again, again , and again. But everywhere he turned this is what he saw: Cassanova, Cassio (sp), and Andersen just nibblin' at his jaw. Tiger Stadium came alive that night as the Tigers ran up the score You could hear those cajuns screamin: "Come on MAC, We want one more !!!" My dad still has that 45. I wonder if it is still any good. We must have listened to that record a gazillion times. I found "Archie Who" on Napster a couple of years back. I downloaded and burned it on CD. "Archie Who" is preserved digitally for the ages. My nine year old loves it !!!!!!!! She thinks it's neat because it's LSU and it's about that DirecTV guy's daddy. I wish I could find a copy of "Last Second Blues". Ah, the greatness of Bert Jones. Cholly was great, but I hope Saban breaks his most wins record.
You've got that CD too?! LOL! I have a little tradition of my own, I play that whole CD every Saturday morning....My friends up here think I'm crazy. THey just don't know southern college football passion!
