And who, oh mighty football coaching hire guru, do you bestow upon us that is capable of satisfying the never-happy-unless-we-destroy-everyone-we-play, Tiger fans of the Bayou??

I agree. I don't know of any play-call, or coaching decision made that was as terrible as some are making it sound (I think the same people, aka "Miles haters" will continue to spew the same b.s. after each and every close game LSU plays from here on out. They just look very, VERY hard to point out any and every mistake--actual or fictual, that Miles does no matter how minute and then say that anyone NOT upset like they are "blindly" follow Miles, or worse, they tell us to kiss their arses.)

Seems as though those anti-Miles fans don't ever want to see any blame put on the players. Nothing is ever their fault--it's always the coaches fault. They refuse to even think that when you have players that fumble and turn the ball over as much as they have, or be flagged for the amount of penalties that they have, or drop as many passes as they have, then PERHAPS the play-calling is scaled down to cut back on "high-risk" plays on purpose! Perhaps the coaches' hands are forced?! Like not chucking the ball downfield if our WR's aren't more dependable catching the ball 10 yards out.... Or sticking with one running back because the others either fumble the ball on their opportunities, or are just ineffective. Or by not running too many "razzle-dazzle" plays that use a lot of misdirection because our OL has been having some problems holding too much--especially on key plays....

We have a good team! We have a top 10 team! But we're still working on things (mistakes) that are of both player and coach alike! With each game that has passed, Miles, staff and players have corrected at least ONE aspect that we've complained about.

Following ASU, we didn't give up 464 yards passing again...
Following Tenn, we started playing 4 full quarters of football....
Following MSU, we started to dominate the teams we should on defense....
Following Vandy, we learned how to defend a pro-prospect at QB...
Following Florida, we learned to NOT turn the ball over and cut down on penalties....
Following Auburn, we need to learn to quit dropping "gimmie" TD passes...

In each of our games, there's been at least one aspect that the team has corrected. Now we have back-to-back games against competition that we should build confidence within ourselves and play more of a complete game in order to prepare for 'Bama.

It won't have to be a close game. :(

This is the freaking SEC, people. There are always close games. That's what makes it such a tough conference. Every team is capable of giving every other team all they can handle week in and week out. Look at UGA vs Ark yesterday. What separates the good teams from the average teams is the ability to win those close games. Overcoming in-game adversity the way this team has shows a lot of character. Given the abundance of youth on this team, it can only help them in the future. Great thing is, they can come out of it relatively unscathed if they beat bama. Not many teams have the opporunity to learn this much about themselves withouth having more losses.

Yeah...and we're 5-1, with 3 wins over top 15 teams....control our own future in terms of a BCS game....have 17 early commitments....a recruiting class that is currently ranked #4 in the country....

Yeah...Miles is doing a REAL horrible job here--Everyone outside of Louisiana sees it! Especially all those 3-4-and 5-star recruits! *warning* *sarcasim being laid THICK*

Think about how Tennessee feels right now. Lots of talent, lots of experience, a proven coach, and they are a middle-of-the-road SEC team ATM. Must suck a lot worse than being 5-1, well on the way to being 7-1.

It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Five wins with 1 unacceptable loss ... UNFORGIVEN!

Redemption is a long stretch off! LSU must run the table, beat Bama and win the SECCG!

Miles hoists an SEC crown for LSU ... Forgiven! If not, I'll keep howling for his head like the rest.

Anyway, brightboy! I think Miles & the team KNOW WHAT THEY MUST DO! :champs:
