Looking more and more like this is going to be the starters on the OL:

    LT - Will Campbell (6'6", 325lbs)
    LG - Tre'Mond Shorts (6'5", 340lbs)
    C - Garrett Dellinger (6'6", 320lbs)
    RG - Miles Frazier (6'6", 323lbs)
    RT - Anthony Bradford (6'5", 345lbs)

    That's beefy.

    Honorable Mention
    TE - Mason Taylor

Kelly was gushing about Taylor in his press conference today, so I'm betting on him to start.

Also when asked about the LB position, Kelly mentioned feeling good about the Jack room because of Desmond Little's play, which is interesting considering that is Ojulari's position.

Just watched some film of Campbell against Gaye and the young stud held his own and even had a few choice words for Gaye. That's what I like to see in OL - big, nasty and not afraid of anyone! Campbell will be a top 5 NFL draft pick! He's that good!

Yep, I think he’s a special one. I didn’t see the video, but I heard someone talking about him and Gaye going at it, and him winning a number of them.

A positive thread about a Tiger O Line is refreshing!

It can’t be as bad as the past 2 years. Shanahan may have been great at getting the OL blocking assignments right, but he was consistently pushed back into the QB. The failures of the OL started there.

It sounds like Kelly likes Dellinger at center, and made a point in the press conference yesterday to point out that the only bad snap was right after it started raining. He joked that he was going to blame that one on the managers for not getting him a dry ball. I'm starting to feel cautiously optimistic about the line as a whole.

And yeah, I agree, it can't be as bad as last year.

Ojulari will certainly start. I think Kelly's statement meant that he was not as concerned with the depth at the Jack position due to Liittle's progress.

I really respect what Shanahan did, but he simply wasn't SEC quality. He played his heart out and left it all on the field, so I can't knock him for his effort. The reality is LSU should never be in a predicament that we have to go the Ivy league for a center. Hopefully, CBK can begin stacking great OL and when one leaves or is injured, the next stud is ready to step in. OL is one area where LSU just hasn't been able to build quality depth and it's shown on the field.
