Definitely not a glamorous pick, but he seems solid. Also a guy with experience so the coaching staff won't have to hold his hand. also known as a solid recruiter. I won't be cutting back flips in the back yard when it's announced, but he may be better than some may think. Anything is better than stud and with Cam guiding Miles I trust the choice.
Exactly. May not seem sexy to outsiders, but CLM and CCC need to work w/him, and someone w/experience coaching OL and in recruiting is a better choice in my opinion than someone coming in from the NFL w/baggage or someone w/o coaching experience. Would love to see them now add Mawae as an asst. and groom him to take over down the road.
