O'Keefe says NO to the Saints?

I want the Cleveland deal!

I want Benson and his stinking team out of here, but they can't have the logo, the colors, or the nickname.

If the NFL never again returns a franchise to NOLA, then, so be it . . . the New Orleans Saints will fade into oblivion, just like the St. Louis Browns.

That's what I want to happen anyway.

I do NOT hate the New Orleans Saints . . . I simply want them to cease to exist.

Cleveland is so far ahead of New Orleans economically. Cleveland can handle a team. New Orleans cannot...

Two things:

1) Give me one reason why Tagliabue would give Louisiana another team? And don't give me the reason that you already gave. In a year from now, when the NFL examines the NFL and Louisiana, they will realize it won't work..Louisiana, even before the hurricane, was an economic mess. There is more economic output in Dallas than there entire state of Louisiana. I love my native state, but the state can't handle another NFL team...

2) Do you really want another team? You know we are the only state in country that pays their NFL team to stay in the state?

 

Can't say I can give you a good reason other than any state that would support and even pay to keep the worst franchise in the history of all professional sports after 39 years of misery deserves a team. I also can't explain why the NFL, NBA and MLB make many of the decisions they make and giving NO another franchise wouldn't rank up there with the craziest.

Yes I do, I'm a sucker for football and believe that the people of this state have more than payed their dues with the saints and deserve to see some winning NFL football at least once in their lifetime.

 

I love the Saints as much as any Saints fan. I'm a huge Saints fan. But I realized when I get older that the Saints were not a positive for the state of Louisiana. Any time we have to pay something like the Saints to stay, it's a bad deal...

But I have to give you props for being more die hard these days than I am...

 

I've been around as long as the saints have and at this point I don't refer to it as "die hard", it's more like sucker....stupid....masochist....ect... :redface: :redface: :redface: :redface:
