Oh wow, they did that wretched song "Walk the Dinosaur". I haven't thought of that song in years, and now wish I had never read this thread.

They also did a song called "In K-Mart Wardrobe" that was actually pretty funny...

Hole was Courtney Love's band who had some hits in the late 90s.

Pavement was an indie-kinda garage band. I think the critics liked them, though I never really liked them.

Skinny Puppy is/was? an electronic/industrial group. I imagine Contained Chaos likes them a good bit. I liked their song "Inquisition" a lot, though that must be over 10 years ago.

Live Through This by Hole is actually a very good album - I would recommend it.

speaking of music and bands from the 90s, has anyone heard the new Pearl Jam single. I am not sure but I think I like it. They are supposed to be going back to their "hard" sound, possibly like the 10 album. I still hold firm that Porch is one of the best Pearl Jam songs ever.

i saw pavement at the varsity. a girl i was dating took me to the show. i think they are one of those bands for girls and wimpy males. like death cab for cutie and sunny day real estate. not terrible, but mostly made for girls.

Their "Haircut" and "Hi-Ho Silver Rides" are fun, but their music is mostly uneventful.
