I don't think it will happen this week.
It will be at the end of the season.

Thank him for his services, then hold a press conference announcing his replacement

He's gone. Only question is timing and replacement.

Hard to fire him after today. The decision is made.

O can drag out the announcement until it is more palatable to announce his firing or he can go full rehab mode on his public image and go the PR route. The best PR route to me is what Tyrone Willingham did before Halloween at Washington with Woodward. He announced he was stepping down after the year but continued to coach and lead Washington while Woodward went to work trying to get Petersen.

That allows O to save face and at every turn praise his kids, praise his coaches, praise LSU, keep the recruiting class together and profess his love for his home and Louisiana.

He does that and he's still the 2019 beloved hero son who done good and gave everything for LSU. The copycat of what E actually is. His kids will benefit from that in the coaching world and he'll be employable in the future.

If he fights it or leaves like he did at USC or gives up recruiting or anything of the sort and that will hurt himself and his kids in the coaching community. We will see if they simply delay the announcement..

If I'm O though I take control of what little I can and cooperate and try to rehab my image and keep my status here at home as a favored son..

Well what I saw was two teams that got beat by Kentucky. Kentucky got whipped and spanked right ?? Yes we scored and scored so did they . The ole miss game will be a lot like the Florida game.

"If they play hard like they did today".....begs the question, why didn't they play hard like that the first six games?

I like every word of this, but O doesn't strike me as the type to fall on his sword for the program.
