    The thing about God hating blacks kind of makes me think.

    Remember when Rita was heading straight for Houston, so much so that the Weather Channel had Jim there. Well they moved all the evacs in dome donw there to Arkansas and the storm turned move north to go get em.

    The nation has always had the assumption that La polotics are corrupt and it is not that far fetched but now we just look like compete idiots.

    Now whos comments were worse Rays or Kanye, I say they are on about the same level. The only difference Kayne seems to be a smartfella and believes in what he said. And Ray is just a complete jackass.

    Maybe we should oblige Nagin by rounding up all the chocolates in Louisiana and move them to New Orleans.

    Did you just say Kanye West is a smart fella who believes what he says?

    He got on a daytime talk show (I forget exactly which one, my wife related this account to me) and was asked about some of his comments re: Katrina. Do you know what he said?

    Yeah but at the time he said it I think Kayne believed what he said and the talk show was just spin control.

    With RayRay how could ANYONE in their right mind think that was a good thing to say.

    Those things are success, which are related to intelligence but not at all the same. A 3 year old that can do advanced math is intelligent, but that does not mean he will be successful. The tests measure what they are supposed to - intelligence, which is what we are talking about. Any flaws they exhibit affect all races the same.

    As Red pointed out, black scientists, as well as white, have pointed out & examined these differences. You obviously don't want to believe them. However, they exist & there is no statistical lie in that.

    Atleast he didn't accuse the tests of being racist like some have. Some black people have said that the tests include things only a white family would discuss. As if politics were some phenomenon limited only to white families & standardized tests should include box scores for Michael Jordan instead.

    Which means it has nothing to do with the fact that your color is different, just that the culture is different.

    This may have been true in the 1970's, but all of the major testing groups have used multiracial review boards for the last three decades, specificlally to eliminate cultural bias. It won't wash anymore.


    And unlike one's color, one can modify, adapt and overcome cultural problems.
