I disagree. IMHO this game was a trap for Ohio State. Like LSU in the past they thought they could show up and win while looking forward to next weeks game against USC.
Yep..... 2 TD's w/ less than 6 minutes to go is gonna be tough for Ohio to do. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
I seem to recall a game with Tulane last year where the score was 10-9 at the 1/2. Maybe these guys are just sleep walking, and it might be premature to write them off for the rest of the year. Hard to believe with their recruiting that Wells being out would torpedo their entire team. Their defense even looked slow. I guess they have issues with the spread as well.
I haven't been drinking the OSU kool-aid, and I think the USC will absolutely kill OSU next week, with or without Wells. There is no excuse for OSU, the #3 ranked team, to look like they did in that game. At least, we finally came out last year and whipped Tulane handedly.
every time i erase that from my memory, some wise guy has to bring it back up! i agree. not to mention they totally screwded up both my pick ems. :cuss:
Well, I HAVE been placing the Luckeyes at the top of my Top 5, based purely on how many returning starters they have. I have officially changed my mind - you were right and I was wrong. If they beat or even stay close to USC I will be confused and very surprised.
You will see a different Buckeye team next week. Beanie was out and they did not take Ohio seriously. Remember when LSU lost to UAB and a week later beat a very good Tennessee team? USC pounded a horrible Virginia team and made them look unbeatable, but they'll have their hands full next week. Islstl: If you want to give me OSU and 40, let me know how much you are willing to lose. :hihi:
It won't be 40, but I don't see the Buckeyes staying in this. They don't have the offense. Even with Beanie.
