Yes, but when you go out to a place where a coat and tie or a button down and slacks would be the norm, you most likely would not wear your camo. If you would, then yes, it would make you a redneck. I think a camo jacket with a tie would be sweet. It would say "Hey, I'm here to discuss business but I'll kick your ass if I don't like the terms...."
Yeah, I know. I lived in Shreveport a few years ago for about a year and really enjoyed it. Hell, my wife is from Shreveport. I just have a South LA prejudice that I can't overcome. But it's great fun when people ask her where she is from to pipe in with "East Texas" or "Southwest Arkansas". Makes her really happy, I assure you.
Yes, but do you have any stickers involving Calvin peeing on anything, like a car symbol or a cross or something? That's the real deal there, buddy.
They are mostly private clubs, although I don't disagree that some are open to the public. The spread in the Advocate last year was done by invitation. PETAists usually try and sneak in under false pretenses. It has gone this way mostly due to harassment. Its one of those things that if it wasn't in the media, no one would really know it was going on. No doubt. Term limits are actually the root cause of the sport being outlawed. There was a strong hold amongst Acadiana state representatives that kept the issue in committee in the past. Since most of these guys were ousted on term limits, they can no longer keep it from getting to the floor for vote. You can bet that it gets passed this session. As for term limits, thats a whole 'nother topic. If the people wanted you out, they would vote for your opponent. Case in point, William Daniel.
Since this thread has kinda died, I have to ask how the way the rope ends up around the calves' necks affects the horses sliding to a stop and the calves hit the end of the line? Seriously.
Did you ever watch boxing? Head butts, shots to the groin, not to mention biting an ear. Even in pro boxing, they could be made to wear headgear. Why not? Do we want to see blood? Does the public want that danger or death? No matter how protective we are with football players, several die each year. We all watch the ultimate fighters. They knee each other, use fists, just about anything. Would I go to see a cock fight? No. But some people would wager on two crawfish, if you could make them fight quickly.
