With the portal & NIL, college HCs are becoming more like GMs of the NFL. The salary cap in college football is whatever the rich alums can afford. How long will it be before some NFL team reaches down to the college ranks to tab a successful college HC for a GM position? I’m guessing that Billy Napier found out that the cap at Fla. is somewhere under $1.8 mil.

No doubt. I just watched Walker Howard's commitment video and I remember when I saw it the first time I thought this kid was LSU to the end. He visited his mother's grave and thanked her for making him the person he was and how that was going to allow him to live his lifelong dream of playing football at LSU. Wow, how quickly time changes!
Which begs the question, did he transfer cuz of NIL or he thought he would play quicker? I don’t see his path any easier at OM.
