Then why did we resign him in the 1st place?

I wish someone would explain what the Saints coaches see in Devante Harris. Came in two years ago as a UFA, same time as Ken Crawley. Both were thrown to the wolves that season due to injuries and were torched. Last year, Harris gets the nod to start the year and looked no better than he did in year 1. They switched to Crawley and he quickly showed tremendous improvement. Last night, Harris is in on J'ville's final, potentially game-winning drive and commits two - not one, but two - third down penalties that kept the drive alive! In his third camp and still looks like a rookie UFA. When will they pull the ripcord on him?

I want to see DE Jayrone Elliott and RB Jonathan Williams get earlier playing time this week. Both looked like beasts in the 4th quarter last night, but that was mostly against guys who will not make J'ville's final roster. Neither is a rookie; Elliott is entering his 5th year. Williams showed much more fire than either Terrance West or Shane Vereen; both of those guys looked to me like they were going through the motions.

You got your wish, LOL. We also signed another Marcus Williams? Maybe if there were two of them at the end of the Minn. game, the other would have made the tackle ;)

Yes, leg injury. Word is he walked off the field without help, but no one has said what the injury is.
