Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was born a muslin in Kuwait, moved to America, became a citizen and graduated from college. It would seem he was on a path to a better life than he would have had in Kuwait. But once a muslim always a muslim and he chose to throw his life away and if their's any justice he is now roasting in hell instead of enjoying his virgins. When they examine his computer and phone I have no doubt that they will find all kinds of ISIS websites and Twitter accounts and no telling what else. ISIS has become very good as using social media as a recruiting tool.

But what about American and European kids who try to join ISIS and either travel to them or commit acts of terrorism in their own countries. Only a week or so ago the son of a former Boston cop was arrested in Massachusetts after having assemble the parts to make a pressure cooker bomb. This guy wasn't a raghead. Before he changed his name to a muslim name his last name was Irish or Italian, I don't remember which. Born and bred in the USA by American parents. It makes you wonder if the younger generation is attracted to the horrific brutality of ISIS. Foreign recruits are the first to be used a suicide bombers. The fighting troops have bombs strapped on their bodies while they attack another fighting force so that if they are overwhelmed they can blow up their enemies as well as themselves. If anybody tried to retreat they are blown up by remote control. If an ISIS soldier falls asleep on duty he is executed on the spot. Women recruits are given to ISIS members to become their muslim wives.

I don't know many 18-25 year olds any more. Of the ones I do know, a few are a little screwed up but not bad kids, just unfocused and don't know what they want to do. Some of them are focused on their educations or making a life for themselves. I don't think any one of them would have any desire to become a muslim, join ISIS and commit senseless acts of terrorism leading to their own deaths.

There are always some kids who are disaffected or loners and malcontents but very, very few of them end up doing anything like Dylan Roof or the Connecticut, Colorado or Columbine shooters. The scariest thing is that there are enough young Americans who are attracted to the idea of being able to commit heinous acts of brutality as shown on ISIS websites. Since ISIS has become so good at using social media I wonder if we are doing anything to hack their websites and twitter accounts and shut them off or use them to spread negative misinformation about Islamic terrorism. Probably not since our president won't even admit that Islamic terrorism exists.

1. He was a muslim, anyone shocked? Didn't think so.

2. They will continue to have success recruiting American kids as long as their are idiots like gumborue who have their head so far in the sand they can't get it out. These people are in our government, our schools and on our TV screens every day.

1. Bobby criticized Obama for using a tragedy to play politics and push his agenda. Hmmm, sounds like Bobby is doing the same fucking thing here because he needs NRA support for his ridiculous presidential aspirations.

2. Why can't the marines guard marines and navy guard navy and so on, why does the national guard have to do it?
