    they can't meet in the finals. maybe the semis or quarterfinals

    Netherlands and Spain have great teams this year.

    My personal favorite team is Argentina but will not pull for them over the US.

    also to people that say that soccer is a pussy sport. first you are stupid and you didnt play soccer. second, why would soccer be a pussy sport and not other sports that dont involve any contact at all? is michael phelps a pussy because swimming is a non-contact sport?

    soccer is a contact sport and again, it is much, much , much rougher and intense than baseball (which is an almost perfect sport btw). plus the level of fitness required for soccer is greater than other sports. there are no john kruks or charlees barkleys playing soccer.

    I nplayed both soccer and football in H.S. By far is soccer more difficult. You're always on the field and you're always moving. It's rough as well because you have cleats flying at you without any real padding. In practice we started out by running around the Muny golfcourse for warmups. That was more than the cross country team ran from what I was told.
