well that was one hell of a fun game. Looks like 1 of the two teams I picked advanced to the finals. Hopefully the 2nd will do so tomorrow, although the Germans look damned good.

Uruguay made it interesting in the final minutes didn't they? What do you think on the Germany-Spain game? Toss up?

Spain is my pre-cup pick to win it all, but Germany is just relentless this year. Germany win it 3-1.

Best goal and game of the tournament that I have had a chance to watch.

The way Germany has been rolling, smart money would probably be them winning it all. I'm pulling for the orange crush though, it's about time they won one.

Germany has been strong but arguable the best player on their team this world cup will be on the sidelines due to yellow cards.

The German Octopus picked Spain so I am going with them. :hihi:

In basketball, the equivalent would be goaltending and the shot would just count.

I think the closest relation is when a defensive back is beaten for a touchdown and he knows it, so he purposely commits pass interference.

Germany looked lost without their best player.

Minutes away from a 1-0 victory for Spain.

F'n spaniards, i hope the Dutch destroy them. You are right BHelm the loss of Muller was too much for Ze Germans to overcome.
