Well, I suppose there's a east and west Tenn St if this school is name "middle", or left and right Tenn St? Is there a regular ole Tennessee State? I really oppose this directional naming of schools. There's got to be some influential alumns or anyone relatively important who could lend their name to the school. I dunno, how bout MLK, Daniel Boone, Davey Crockett, Jack Daniels, "middle" just doesn't cut it.
MTSU put up 42 points on 8th ranked Louisville. If we shut them out, is that enough for Musberger to say we are the best defense in CFB?
Big East D is not even close to being any good for the top 3 teams (WV, UL, and RU) really non existent. LSU has a great opportunity to shut them down and show the country how bad the D is in the Big East. Cincy is my underdog pick after the 1st few games. No one is talking about them but they have the best defense in the conference and that could be the difference maker.
I agree. This will be the best Offense LSU has faced this year. I watched some of the Middle Tenn. Louie ville game. Did the Blue Raider QB do any running? If he can't run they are in trouble.:geauxtige PS They are in trouble
He can't stable the horses early. Every player he has is a horse. I love the way we can bring in the replacement and continue to score on offense & play tough defense.:geauxtige
62-0 This team has managed to surpass expectations for each of the 1st 2 games, and has decided to make a few statements about who is the best team in the Country. Because MTSU put up 40 on a top ten team, it is our duty to shut them out. Because a top 10 team hung 58 on them, it is our duty to out do that.
LSU opens up as a 42 point favorite. I'm expecting a pretty large win next Sat., but I am also anticipating a crowd that is a lot more laid back than they were this week. It won't help MTSU much, but may allow them to get 10-14 on LSU. 52-13 LSU. (and Another Int. for Steltz)
LSU - 45 MTSU - 10 (all in the 4th quarter after MTSU's second team QB is in - anybody know his name??) ldskule: ldskule: ldskule:
