    yes, in fact 247sports lists LSU as "Cool"

    At 6'4" 175 lbs I'm not sure what position he would play in college, but it sure as well won't be safety.

    Yeah....his measurables don't scream any position. ESPN now has him at 6'5". Without the weight, he can't be a TE. No way he's a safety.

    Exactly, a team with zero QBs should want to sign 2-3, but LSU hitched its cart to one mule and that mule got cold feet and ran off. Yet another obvious clue that the staff has no idea when it comes to QBs. As far as the turd in a punch bowl comment, LSU has chased the stars for years and struck out while other teams have gone after steady Joe and hit it out of the park. Maybe the turd in the punch bowl is exactly what LSU needs. I'd get several of them.

    It's eerily similar to the whole situation with Aleeva going all in on Jimbo, only to have him up the ante too much and now being stuck with Miles. Miles was all in on Franks and then he flips at the last second.

    I don't ever see the problem being fixed either until Miles either gives in to running a system that best fits his QB or recruiting QB's who fit his system. Mett was really the only QB that truly fit what he likes to run.

    We did not limit ourselves to Franks. We were also after Patterson. But when we hired Franks, Patterson decided he did not like the competition and chose Mississippi. It is ironic that new we end up with neither.
