Compare to a 247sports prediction of the final ranking:

    Projected Final Standings
    Alabama 299.43
    LSU 298.77
    Florida State 291.24
    Ole Miss 287.20
    Ohio State 286.69
    Michigan 277.56

They must be predicting Knott selects Bama over Ole Miss (it's a close race prediction wise but trending Ole Miss at this moment), and Ole Miss losing out on someone else.

You beat me to it Issy. My computer is giving me fits this morning, very slow. He has Bama with Ben Davis, Lyndell Wilson, Terrell Hall, Shyheim Carter, Mykel Jones and 2 that are different than what I had--Nigel Knott and Irv Smith.

Rivals has our commits ranked lower than all the other sites which is bringing our composite down on 247. We could see LSU ranked #1 on ESPN/Scout and Bama taking the composite and Rivals.

ESPN is the one that matters the most IMO. Not because they are correct in their assessment, but because of the publicity generated by them. I would think the general public as well as most high school kids and their families pay more attention to their rankings. It would be nice to hear that LSU has the top recruiting class in the nation broadcast across the country on signing day or shortly thereafter. Couldn't hurt publicity wise for future recruits.

Where are they projecting Mique Juarez? After the news, I think he may have dropped Ole Piss and is looking only at Bama and ugly.

With QB Scott committed, we need to finish with:

    CB Fulton
    OL Williams/Price or Lashley
    DL Chrismas-Giles or Sci Martin

DB's Carter or Mullen would be lagniappe.

At that point I won't really care if it's the #1 or #2 class. It'll be a stellar class with all of our needs met and tons of talent/ potential coming in.

Based on everything I have heard to this point, I will stick with Fulton, Mullen, Sci Martin, and keep Fowler.

Anyone else at this point would be a surprise meaning as of now the staff doesn't feel they are leading for any other guys or targeting ones that could be leaning our way. Don't see OL Williams or Lachley but Grimes is still on them and John Simpson. Don't see Carter either and could be Ole Miss for him.

LSU now with 2 players in question, Campbell and Fowler. Let's hope both stick, as we can't afford to lose a LB or OL.
