http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2016/01/lsu_greedy_williams_texas_am.html He says he is 100 percent LSU, for whatever that is worth.
So latest trends/predictions have the LSU class filling up with: 23. Fulton 24. Christmas-Giles 25. Scott (if he's a take, and I believe he is) 26. OL? (Williams) 27. DB? (Mullen, Anderson, Carter, Cook) 28. LB? (Martin)
If i had to pick now...thinking Mullen, Fulton, Sci Martin. Giles is a possibility but Sci brings more rush end speed and LSU likely wants more of that over Giles. No clue if Scott is coming or not. More on that after his official next weekend. Could see Tanner Lee and him or just one of them. Lee would sit next year and have 2 years to play if comes here. Surprise could be OL Williams after this weekend visit. Not feeling Anderson, Carter, or Cook at this time. Maybe Taylor could enter the mix.
Another Marquise would be nice. It is just that we always seem to have an abundance of DB's, Wr's and RB's we can recruit. If we miss on one we can plug in another very close in talent. That isn't the case IMO in Louisiana when it comes to OL and DL. Yes, this is an unusual year where we have an abundance of DT's, but it isn't normally the case. In addition, we seem to have a harder time holding onto our best and biggest line recruits as they are inundated with offers from top schools. Especially, with the offense we have been running the "big uglies" are the key.
We may be in the running for Shyheim Carter after all: http://www.nola.com/recruiting/inde...andout_one_of_natio.html#incart_story_package
I posted a separate thread on his recruitment (there wasn't one before), and while it sounds promising, I don't think anything pans out from it. We shall see, however. You just never know.
