Not quite true. Michigan's total D is ranked at 7th in the nation (USC is 18th). USC has the 2nd rated rush D (Michigan at 24th). Now the great news, USC's passing D rates at 110th (M at 7th). Look for Michigan to take advantage of that secondary. UofM 38 USC 21
Of course not. There is only a total of 10 points of seperation between the 1st and 30th team in PPG defense. So it could be said that: If you look at anybody's PPG, it's not much better than anybody else's, in the top 30 defenses in the country.
