I am paraphrasing this from CNN: From senior administration officials. They have just made the decision at the white house that the president will not go to make a speech this morning. His campaign chairman will soon make an optimistic statement saying the president believes he has won the election. but because so many states are not willing to say the election is over, for now they will play this out for another day.
I think a good move by the Pres considering the circumstance, but it is a damn shame Kerry could not concede this thing when he knows it is hopeless
uhh. great. waited all this time for no speech. blather just said if you're waking up, Kerry could still win the election. then ed bradley said, this could be the end of the line for Ralph Nader.
Rather is making an ass of himself tonight...what a goof. I remember I actually liked him for a little while when he appeared on letterman after 9/11 and cried.
I've never watched Rather in the past and did not quite know what to make of his recent blunders. After watching him tonight it is quite clear that he is a bumbling idiot or just old and completely lost...
Ohio race for President 11477 of 11477 precincts - 100 percent George W. Bush (i) Rep 2,794,346 - 51 percent John F. Kerry Dem 2,658,125 - 49 percent
Anybody have any theories on why no one will call Nevada, Iowa, or New Mexico for Bush? It's either a huge conspiracy against me or they really need the ratings. I'm also going to declare victory on my horrible, off predictions. Since it appears Bush will win Iowa and New Mexcio. Bush has a bigger lead in OH than Kerry does in PA, so I declare Bush the victor of PA. Same for Wisconsin. :thumb: Not sure what is more exciting, Vitter winning out right or Tommy Daschole being sent packing. Drudge should be shot.
