right, but the networks that are calling ohio (fox, nbc, possibly others), what possible reason could they have for not calling the whole nation?
Here's the deal. MSNBC called Ohio after Fox and CNN (who pulled it back off) did. They now claim that Nevada is a tossup, even though the Prez is 20K ahead with only 1 percent left. They just don't want to be the only one calling the election for Bush. Chicken sh!t
it seems like they have themselves in a position where they have to maintain a lie about nevada and it expsoing them as too spineless to call it first.
Bush now ahead by 11K in New Mexico with only 15 out of 1495 precincts. Anybody see a damn trend here?
Interesting stat - Algore won the popular vote by 1/2 million, and the democrats made a huge deal of this. Bush is up by 6 times this amount right now...you want to talk about hypocrisy? And yes I am paraphrasing from the Senator on Fox News, but that is a great stat.
Iowa and New Mexico have halted ballot counting for tonight and will continue in the morning. per CNN Thus those states not being called anywhere. CNN has declared Nevada for Bush but not Ohio. Fox has declared Ohio for Bush but not Nevada. Talk about some spineless journalism right now.....
Bush camp supposedly waiting on all networks to confirm Nevada is in Bush's column. Then he would make a victory speech, declaring the Democrats cannot possibly win Ohio, even with the provisional ballots.
