Thx for the info uscpuke. Seems like other states such as California need to follow the lead of Arizona with that. Did it pass by a wide margin in Arizona?
California passed something similar years ago but has been challenged in courts ever since :dis: It passed by 10%, but that number is very misleading. When it was first announced over 80% supported the idea of what the proposition says. Then the opposition and 'supporters' of immigration reform said it was not worded correctly and that it would get tied up in the courts. John McCain came out against it as did just about every politician. Even with all that, it still passed soundly as people are sick and tired of picking up this expense.
Now the number of provisional ballots in Ohio mysteriously being called 200K to 300K. First I heard of this 300K number. Watch it grow to 350K by the time you wake up in the AM.
Ahh, I did not know that. I have friends who live in southern California now and they have actually expressed frustration over such issues in recent years. I imagine since it's been held up in courts that is the reason they are not seeing positive effects of it.
Bush lead grows to 137K with 98 percent reporting in Ohio. I bet there are now 500K provisional ballots all of a sudden. And what the f*ck is wrong with Buchanon on MSNBC? You would swear he is a Demoncrat. He really has had a vendetta against Bush for some reason, primarily because he was against Bush going to war in Iraq.
Buchanan came out hard on Bush in the New Republic I believe it was, however he still endorsed him. But it was more of a lesser of two evils endorsement.
Just thinking about Edwards' comments.. I truly hope he meant "one more day" literally. This does not need to be long and drawn out. At this time the election process, in the view of the rest of the world, really needs to go along smoothly.
read a book of his a few years back. i like some of his ideas but obviously he is too extreme. forgot the name of it.
