Rather: "If Kerry goes on to pick up Ohio's 20 electoral votes...." Then goes on to say "Even if Bush loses Ohio, he can still win the overall"

He is basically counting Ohio as eventually going to Kerry and presenting scenarios on how Bush can sitll win without Ohio.

For those interested Arizona passed a proposition aimed clearly at waking up politicians who are ignoring the illegal alien problem. Niether party wants to act on it so it was put on a proposition and passed tonight. I am sure it will get challenged but it was a good first step.

. Arizona Proposition 200 is a citizens' initiative to require proof of citizenship to register to vote, photo ID to vote, and proof of eligibility for non-federally mandated public benefits (welfare). The Proposition 200 (Protect Arizona Now) voter initiative was conceived and directed by Arizona residents.

Proposition 200 will implement measures to protect the integrity of the voter rolls against corruption and fraud and will prevent public agencies from accepting insecure identification cards to show eligibility for public benefits, unless the issuing agency has verified the immigration status of the cardholder.

New Mexico, Nevada and Iowa will go Bush's way.

That makes it 266 Bush, 242 Kerry.

Wisconsin is up in the air, probably going to Kerry. But if Bush can take it, then we don't worry about f*cking Ohio.
