i thought he was gay. nah i dont pull for the clips. I cant pull for teams who play token defense, hence i didnt care which team won. although adams had me going for about a 5 minute stretch.
Great game and crazy ending. Both teams have now given one away. Early in the game, they showed Westbrook's stats for this series plus game 7 of the Memphis series and they were impressive. When you consider how hard he plays at both ends of the court, I think you can make a case that he's the best player in the series. There were some questionable calls but that happens. Those that occur late in the game are easy to complain about. I'm pulling for the Clippers in Game 6 because I'd like to see them win the series but I'd be satisfied with a game 7 (even if the Thunder win).
On the last play, it looked like his arm was hit, which caused him to lose the ball. I don't think a foul should have been called in that situation. Ibaka played good help defense. CP3 choked even more on that play around midcourt with the turnover. Only a few minutes later, he looked like the hero. I nearly turned the game off when the Clippers went up by 7 with less than a minute left. That's one thing I love about basketball. It's so easy (as a fan) to see a player rise to the occasion in a difficult situation yet also have a brain freeze and choke. Sometimes, both happen in a span of less than a minute.
nets with 7 more wins. knicks with 5 more last year. im plus $2 over mastermind i think. jackson is the one who hit his arm. ibaka just switched. but cp knows hes not getting that call. while watching live, i thought for sure he shoulda shot the open 3. he was indecisive for once.
One of the announcers mentioned that Paul would probably take the ball to the rim because he knew the refs would call a foul due to the other questionable calls. That line of thinking, along with Ibaka protecting the rim, may have caused him to be indecisive in the split second that he should have done something else. If he shoots the open 3 (only down 1 pt) and misses, then he probably gets blasted for "settling" on that shot.
it was clear he hit westbrook on the forearm/elbow area no way westbrook's shot would have been that far off target without getting fouled I do not like the "adjusted" call on the out of bounds replay, when the refs basically saw they missed an obvious foul on the reach in and then decided "well it should really be OKC's ball". Refs are humans, and in this case the human element took over vs how they were supposed to make that replay call. Ultimately, Paul panicked and didn't let himself get fouled to go to the line to put the team up by 4 points with less than 15 seconds to play. That was just crazy for a veteran player to react in that manner. Especially when you consider he is probably the most poised player in the NBA.
