The Magic gave it all they had and still had to win in overtime, a few made baskets by Pierce and this series would have been over.

TB3, I think you understated the amount of problems the Lakers had against the zone or they regressed against it since 2 days ago. They really looked confused and out of rhythm all night and that goes for everybody. They second guessed their shots all night.

Suns deserve a ton of credit because not only did they play the zone wonderfully but they also contested almost every attempt which is extremely hard to do when playing zone and they also made sure to carry the intensity to the offensive side of the floor.

Well there is an extremely good chance that happened since I didnt even go into the problems they had with it. :hihi:

The Suns played much better in game 4.

The Suns bench scored 54 points and Amare drove the basket. The way to beat that zone is to have Kobe on the wing. Amare was having fits trying to rotate out. The Lakers have to start making shots. Its going back to LA and i think the Lakers roll in game 5. They will have the crowd, the refs, and Amare wont be nearly as effective.

    Been awhile...

Anyone still think Big Baby made a poor choice leaving early?:hihi:

The bench for the Celtics have been clutch and they really didn't even need their starters in game 4 to take the victory. Shrek and Donkey took over. Lakers have to make them pay when the bench is out there because those old guys can't get a chance to rest like that.

How does Ray Allen go from being lights out to 0-FOR the next.:dis:

If they lockdown Pierce, Allen makes them pay and Vice Versa.

Really surprised of the disappearance of Kobe in the 4th this whole series. He usually disappears at other times but rarely the 4th and critical turnovers in the 4th as well. He played a hell of a game last night until 6 minutes were left in the 3rd. 17 points in the 3rd and then 2 the 2nd half of the 3rd.

Another case of the Kobe support disappearing last night as well.

If Kobe is a one man show at any point these next 2 games the Lakers are done but the home court should help the rest of them to get motivated if the Finals are not enough motivation. One man shows play right into the Celtics hands. Ex. Wade and Lebron and Kobe some in this series.

    Rando:eek:

It was beautiful to see Kobe crying for fouls in the fourth when the ball was stolen from him a few times.

Kobe did put on a "clinic" in the 3rd, but only on one side of the court. The Lakers D was pathetic and has been for the entire series. If it wasn't for the Celtics missing every possible open shot/lay-up in game 3, this series would be over.

The Celtics are clearly the better team. I just hope they don't have brain farts like they did in game 3 so they can finish off this series.

Maybe off the court, but on the court, he's a pretty dirty (over-emotional) player and likes to flop a lot.
