Official NBA Playoff Thread-2009

Chauncy played in the final 3 games against the Lakers and the Nuggets went 1-2 against them. The Nuggets are on a hell of a roll and I don't think they will be pysched out or intimidated by the Lakers. Should be a hell of a series.

 

im a mavericks fan and i think the media went a little overboard with the whole cuban thing, but other than the cavs the nuggets have played the best basketball in the playoffs, including the 58 point decimation of new orleans. I am pulling for the nuggets because i cannot stand kobe bryant, who is in my opinion the dirtiest player since john stockton.

oh and this rockets team is fun to watch. yeah i know you've been saying that 2 years running. if the game is on the line and theres a loose ball to win it, it wont be the lazy lakers coming up with it.

they outplay the lakers on every level even w/o yao, tmac or dikembe.

odom and co. are nowhere to be found. will be tough in LA but they have a huge adv at point guard so its possible.

aaron dont call me that aaron brooks is impressive. adelman deserves a lot of credit. they constantly hustle and all 5 play d. tough to get players to do nowdays.

If they play good basketball, the Rockets have a real chance.

If not, it will be ugly.

Derek Fisher is the worst starter of all of the starters on all of the 16 playoff teams. Dude can't shoot anymore, can't guard anyone, etc... he's awful.

But yeah, the Rockets are a heart and hustle bunch. If they win this Game 7, I really think they can beat Denver. Denver doesn't like when teams guard them.

Call me a hater, but I still say they have played the 2 worst Western playoff teams in the 1st 2 rounds, because no way in heck Dallas beats San Antonio if Manu plays.

 

I'd like to see a brawl which gets initiated by Artest knocking out Kobe.

 

Interesting, but not surprising, the Nuggets opened as a 6 1/2 point dog for tomorrow nights game.
