Ohh,I get it,you mean that there were people counting their chickens before they hatched? In case you haven't realised yet,we aren't the #2 ranked team in the nation for nothing. The ability to make second half adjustments is usually the difference ina championship caliber team.Look at the michigan app. state game.Michigan was not able to make the second half adjustment. But heck,I probably would have been bitching too.
I said at the half LSU would win by 21... I never doubted da Tigers... but im a TRUE FAN... True fans are fans even if the team goes 0-13... Unlike some of the bandwagon people on here...
Yeah, but the actual SoS component of the BCS, along with the Quality win component has been removed. Some of the polls use their own formula for SoS. Islstl would be the better guy to ask, but my thinking is this: USCeast will win 8-9 games this year (even if they drop this one to MSU). MSU was not expected to do anything, so if they can keep winning ball games, it would benefit us greatly, especially if they can get up to 6-7 wins somehow.
Here sully, sully, sully. Got to show you how ridiculous you sounded.
I didn't read all the threads in this post mostly I just see concern which carried over from the first half.
Now it's based only on the 2 Human polls (Coaches & Harris), and the computer polls. Human polls each worth 1/3, and the computer avg. worth other 1/3. This should be known as the USC rule. BCS honchos looked at the system, figured out what kept USC out of the MNC game, and changed those aspects. Following year, the changes may have been what kept AU out of the game.
