Jean Lafitte, you raise some legit points but I'm hoping our trend continues with the backup QB kicking off their transition. Think about this: -Ro Davey in for Booty against Ga. Tech (Peach Bowl) -Mauck in for Rohan against Tennessee (SECCG) -Flynn in for JR against Miami (Peach Bowl) -Now, possibly RP against Tenn. (SECCG)
I know I rubbed a few around here the wrong way during the Alabama game (don't drink and post:lol: ) but my apologies. I have been a lifelong fan of LSU for 34yrs and I believe LSU will take care of business in ATL. There are some fans up here at MAFB in NODAK that are getting together and we'll be cheering loud and giving smack to some Vol fans who dare to come watch with us. Anyway, Miles should have this team ready if not the seniors will step up and give a good game! LSU 45 TENN 31 :geauxtige
That's easy. McFadden left McFadden Right McFadden up the middle White FB up the middle Screen to white FB Um don't see any game breaking coaching Decisions in there. LSU scored PLENTY enough points to beat Arky, meaning our Coach made enough right calls to win. ONE bad call cost us this game, and that was not blitzing on the 4th and ten. Nutt called a pass play, which ANY coach would do, so that's not out coaching anyone. This game really came down to Arky doing a REALLY good job blocking for the best backfield in the country. There is a reason Arky is ranked as high as they are in rushing offense. BECAUSE they'e good at it. Their strength against our strength. Theirs was better.
Good points, Everybody who responded to my pessimistic post. I will say this, and I mean it . . . ALL IS FORGIVEN IF WE WIN THE SEC ON SATURDAY . . . THE TWO LOSSES, THE POOR STARTS . . . ALL FORGOTTEN. I will be too happy to win the SEC to worry about coaching changes, mental errors, poor d play, etc.
Vols fan here saying good luck on Saturday and I hope for a great game. No blow outs but I am also not sure I can handle another 3/4 OT game. I bleed orange but I pull for LSU against anyone but Tennessee. Been to Tiger Stadium in the past (non-Tennessee games) and loved it. I hope both teams go in with full health and coaches with their minds on the game. I wish I could make a prediction but Tennessee has looked like a D2 team at times (Cal, UF, Bama) and a top ten team at times (UGA, Arky). I just hope it is the latter. Good luck and enjoy the sweet sounds of Rocky Top! :thumb:
