I guess Media arts is not a degree at Ole Miss.

The Ole Miss / LSU game is a rivalry from way back. Currently LSU has bigger rivals with Fla, Auburn, and on occasion, Bama. But like Tulane, LSU is one of the biggest rivals for Ole Miss. So I expect them to come out ready to play like Tulane. A win here could make their season. But I think LSU survives the first punch and then lays it on them the second half, again.

I have to agree with that. The only thing I disagree with is coaching the defense. He can coach the D-line all he wants. I'm not so sure I'd want him as they DC though.

Sorry if it rubs against some folks' superstition, but I'm officially scoffing at Ole Miss' chances this Saturday.

    LSU will crush them.

    Eighteen points is generous.

    LSU 48, Ole Miss 9.

The beginning of a very fine ending for LSU.

As many of you know, my wife is an Ole Miss alum. This game used to really mean something to both of us. First of all, it meant that we couldn't attend the game together...after the first one we tried nearly caused us to divorce two weeks into our marriage. That was 1995, and Kevin Faulk had one heck of a game. We were seated in the LSU student section, so my girl had a rough night to say the least.

But lately, with our success and Ole Miss' failures...the game just doesn't mean much to us. In fact, I would be completely shocked if she is even rooting for Ole Miss in this game. She has...indeed...become an LSU fan.

We've got her 3-1...and they love LSU. I remember her trying to dress my 5 year old...then 4...in red and blue one day for church. He told her he wanted daddy to dress him...he didn't like red and blue.

Ole Miss has yet to win an SEC ballgame this year. I see no reason that to change this weekend... The chainsaw is alive and well.

    LSU - 45
    Ole Miss - 0
