we just havne't focused on the Irish running game at all. I cite ND's fake reverse play action that our DB's just NEVER bit on it and kept running down the field with the WR's. Catch 22. If we send our DB's up in run support too much, chances are we'll get caught up in the play action and give up a big game. I think adjustments need to be made, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just "tweaked" and not completely over-hauled.
Just feels like we are letting the Irish stay in this game too much -- need to grab them by the jugular and be done with it. Not enough pressure on Quinn, tackling needs to tighten up a bit and we sure could use a few better calls by the zebras. It's clear this is LSU's game to lose. Some adjustments on D and we will be OK. PS: Smardzija is a whiny little beyatch. I want to see Landry knock his cocky Yankee teeth out.
well...it's sort of like a running play and it sets up the deep ball because you make their DB's play up.
