Official LSU vs. Notre Dame Sugar Bowl Thread

I am planning on recording the game. We recently switched to cable too,(so we can get the local channels), so I am gonna hafta put it on a vcr tape first, and then I will put it on a dvd.

I am gonna try and remember to pause so I can take out some of the commercials, but if I start drinking too bad, I am just gonna leave them in. That way I won't forget to unpause.

I'm a little nervous. I believe our defense will be fine. I think it is very possible that our db's and secondary could give up a couple of big plays, but we should stop the run and should be able to get to Quinn in the pocket.

I'm worried about the offense and the play calling. I'm worried about JR playing like the UF and AU game. He hasn't done well in the hyped and big games at times. He lets his mechanics get away from and throws off the back foot a lot and tries to guide the ball to the WR's. I say a lot of quick slants, lots of running to wear the D-line out to start and see what happens. Hopefully the play calling is aggressive and that it is not the type of play calling that Tries not to Lose.

I hope the play calling is not conservative but I hope they go after ND.

Why has Notre Dame lost 8 straight bowl games? Because they are allowed to play above themselves... they are put in bowl games that they have no business being in...

 

LOL You make me feel better LOL I have been woried about that 100 dollars all week , it all depends on JR and he worries the fire out of me . If he parties i lose . If he rocks I win !! I know he is good , but just how good I think the pros will teach him how to throw the 10 and 15 yard pass when he starts throwing the 10 and 15 yards pass and picking the defense apart what will he be like then ?? He may do it now all I see is the long ball , and I am not a fan of the long ball , I am 60 years old ,the long ball is just to much excitement for me I guess .
