Seriously guys...what is going on in practice? What are they working with these two on? They look lost against the likes of App State and North Texas. Even when Lee completed passes it was ugly and usually a forced throw. He CONSTANTLY stares down his intended target from the snap to the throw. We all know what the result of that will be when we start playing good teams in the conference....pick 6!

I think it really hurt us not being able to play Troy and also really hurt us that we didn't have a Va Tech type team to prepare for conference play. Yea, yea, I know that the SEC is brutal (and it is) but that game set the tone for last season and launched us into the BCS NC game.

Of course I don't in any way see us making the BCS NC game this year, but playing a Troy or SOMEBODY tougher than an App State and North Texas would have better prepared us for conference play. On the bright side...at least the D has had two looks at the spread offense before Auburn....although I think Auburn has invented its own offense. What that is seems yet to be identified. Wow! I realized when it was over that the only possible lower score could have been 2-0! Unreal, but we all know it will be a different story next week.

The QBs scare me and it's a shame when a Lafell, a Byrd, a Dickson, a Mitchell, etc are getting open but can't get the ball.

Did Jarrett Lee really throw the ball through the uprights in the 4th on 4th down? Did I really see that or was I already asleep. If I did see it then I recall the receiver had position on the DB and it should have been a TD instead of a field goal attempt by our QB.

Just got back from the game...

Defense overall looked good and held UNT to 199 yards. However, I thought the front 4 weren't getting enough pressure on the QB.

Both Hatch and Lee either look spectacular or stupid, depending on the down. They are far too inconsistent for SEC play. Either one needs to have an epiphany or they need to get Jefferson more reps (and not mop-up duty).

The running game is going to make this team offensively. Holliday looked awesome on punt returns. Scott was impressive again also.

    My mixed rambling emotions:

I HATE the short kick off's; seems to get shorter as the game progresses.
    Punting seems to be better.

Trindon is seeing the field and doing the cuts better and better; he is exciting.

Charles Scott is an explosive freight train.

Both QB's still work in progress; seems like the coaches tried to make Hatch throw more long balls in game condition later in the game to get it right with the receivers; Lee needs to have more confidence with calmer nerves when he tried to put the ball in late in the game for what it appears to be a sure TD...he really needs to play more. Coaches have a difficult situation here. Jordan sure can run despite his size....would be exciting to see him play.

Cutrerra seems to be tackling well.

Never expected Quinn Johnson to bulldoze himself in for the TD; good powerful run.

i pretty much feel the same as ccgw about all that.

the QB situation is definitely scary. WR's are being wasted.

i'd also add that coleman is looking really good too. he seems to often be, in not where the ball is when it stops, at least near it.

as far as sacks go, i'll cut the D a little slack since NT's QB released really quick.

scott and quinn are freaking bulldozers, and scott is pretty fast. he, i think, is going to be a team star as we move through.

next week will be the test for sure.

I hope we win and I think we'll keep it close, but a 1D team is very troubling against Auburn and our D looked susceptible. We are damn strong enough to win, but we'll be battling the refs as well. Glad to see Auburn score 3 against MooU, though. I'd hope our D can match the cowbells.

Couldn't give you any rep for that, but, Sister, that was funny!
