1. By no means is LSU making a statement tonight. Miss St is passing too easily on LSU right now. The LBs and DBs need to step up their games. Coverage is a definite weakness. Even with a good pass rush from the DL which is often happening. Im not sure if its the coverage schemes or the players. I think its a little bit of both. I see too much cushion in a lot of sets. I really like the aggressiveness of Muschamp.
  2. It doesn't look like it does it??

I said in a previous post, it appears we are playing to our competition this week.

It's not "pretty", but I'll just take the "W"--who cares if we are #1, #2 or #3 after this week. I just want to avoid being another footnote for "upset week".
  3. Davie brought up a good point: MSU is the first "power offense" that we've faced this year after facing all of those "spread option" teams. I think this is a "feel out" game for us on defense.
  4. Something has to be up with the Birdman..didnt like that series at all
  5. I guess MooU has immunity from pass interference calls or something...
  6. Tolliver is fine , he was back in the last play.
  7. Opponent aside, when you look at the offensive numbers, we're really not doing all THAT bad on offense:

If you were to say, with a freshman QB playing the entire game, and being 18 of 26 for 218 yards and 1 INT....a RB that has 104 yards on 21 carries....and a WR that is 1 yard away from breaking the 100-yard mark, all against an SEC opponent that went to a bowl game last season, wouldn't you take it?

....don't have to like it, but I'll definately take it....
  8. LETS GO DEFENSE!!!
  9. Guess tackling the WR 10 yards prior to the ball being thrown doesn't count, huh?
  10. good point
