True...here we were trying to be cautious about our predictions...instead of saying what we really feel...then along comes ClaraDawg with some nonsense!:dis:
this being the game thread, I guess i should post a *cough*LINK*cough* for you outta towners and thursday night desk jockeys. I'm only planning on doing audio for this one, but if you want video, speak up now.
LSU 33 - MSU 10 Curtis Taylor trips over a prone Moo U player laid out by Beckwith, fluke pass is batted around and caught by a wide-out. Wideout scores, The Hat is blamed for a poor coaching decision, TigerForums erupts in threads such as "I always knew he wasn't the coach for us" and "I'm not sold on Les going far". National media overhear Les letting 'er rip at halftime and report that CLM is downgrading the PAC-10 again.......aren't you glad it's time to play football again?
Hmm... I actually like Croom, but.. LSU - 42 MSU - 13 That feels about right.. I wouldn't be suprised to see LSU open it up even further just to fine tune the new offensive scheme.
LSU 28 -- The new LSU quarterbacks, the OC, and the new offense will take a while to get untracked. But it has to happen this game, 'cause VT comes to town in 7 days. State 10 -- The LSU defense is strong, but State is determined and will get the home field calls from the notoriously inconistent and homer SEC referees.
LSU 24 MSU 6 It wont be that close, though. Just slow getting out of the gates. It is a prime time game so the atmosphere will be awesome (for MSU's standards). I just see MSU's adrenaline keeping them in it until the 2nd Quarter and then we play a normal game. They pick up a TD at the very end and go for two and of course don't get it.
