My God, you've got to be kidding. We would had to have lost the entire first two squads on both offense and defense for MSU to have a shot at beating LSU.
Greetings all - first post. Gotta say - I don't see much hope for the Dawgs in this one. Emotion is a big factor in SEC play, but four quarters is a long time to keep enough emotion going to pull off such a huge upset. Basically, something bad would have to happen to LSU very early on (Matt Flynn injury, for instance) and the Dawg's would have to get VERY good field position three or four times off of turnovers or maybe special teams plays. Otherwise.... LSU 42 MSU 10
Weclome to the forum Crunch. :thumb: What's the vibe with the Gatas down there for the upcoming season?
Thanks for the welcome - Since they've (Florida) had such an amazing run in NCAA athletics lately, expectations remain high. They're still recruiting at a high level. Most of my buds think they're underrated this year because everyone thinks Tebow is more of a gimmick than a serious quarterback. They disagree and think by mid-season, the rest of the country will, too. Personally, I didn't think they were better than LSU last year (5 turnovers in a close game is a huge GIFT). This year, I'd say they're on an uphill slope. We'll see. I spend most of my time thinking in purple and gold, so the blue and orange are still a mystery to me this year.... _____________________________ lsutigerbait.blogspot.com
"Right now, I plan to practice them shorter, to keep them fresh," Croom said. "At this point if I err, it'll be on the side of less work." The Bulldogs haven't worked out in full pads since their Aug. 18 scrimmage.
My prediction... The Tigers will start their first two games this year identically to last years games. LSU 41 Dawgs 3 LSU 41 Turkeys 3
does anyone other than me feel like time is going by so slow that the clock is going backwards? :sob:
