Heres the Bottom line...Floriday shot the ball better, the shot 3's better and the got better play in the post. Noah was outstanding in the post against Big Baby. They got better production all around. The zone just ate the Tigers up in the 2nd half. Its called adjustments. Billy Donovan made them and the Tigers were out of gas. They didnt have their best interior defender and it caught up to them against a quality team. Big Baby had 4 fouls and was ineffective for the last 6 minutes. It wasnt the refs, or brady or anything, Fla was just better today. End of story. Oh and not to mention being outscored by 19 in the 2nd half.
So you say coaching won the game because Donovan adjusted at the half. Well wouldnt that be like saying Brady lost it cause he didnt have a counter punch? **** Also if you read some of my other post, it says we lose to teams who cna play a good 2-3 zone. Well thats what happened.
ON a positive note, TMitch had another great shooting day. If only he and Temple can get hot in the Tourney then the Tigers are very dangerous. But until Temple finds his game and Darrel gets completely healthy, you have to worry.
your right. But lately has given LSU absolutey nothing on the offensive end. I dont think its fair to put this one on JB. When your team isnt hitting shots, they just arent hitting shots. I think one mistake they made was not doubling in the post when Noah and Horford among others were dominating the post in the 2nd half. Brady didnt have his star shot blocker and rebounder, Has 0 bench, and his PG has a bum ankle. I dont think this one can go on Brady. Sometimes you have to put it on the players.
the only thing i really even cared about from the game was the post-game health report. i hope lsu goes home and has a relaxing sunday playing videogames and eating cheetos. the tourney is for teams who are on the bubble.
