I agree That Perrilloux is very talented and will be Great Starting Qb. That Said I feel that Flynn Brings Leadership and And a Calm Confidence to the team that is needed to win big games .Flynn is also a great discission maker. I Think the coaches are doing the right thing by intergrating Perrilloux's talent and grooming him for next season.:eek:ldskule:

    Geaux Tigers!!!!

Thought I would drop in again and see how everyone was doing today. It seems there is no shortage of confidence. I suppose it is well justified. I dont really agree with some of the predictions (still standing by my previous prediction of 35-24 LSU). Of course, there are those Gator fans that are predicting the 63-0 score. Not sure what planet they are living on, but I hope the weather is nice there.

How did I know the Tony Joiner situation was going to be turned into "The Gators are a bunch of criminals". Sigh.

Regarding the taser pic....ok, I laughed...for a sec. But lets be honest...that kid deserved to get tazed, WANTED to get tazed, and is now probably high-fiving his friends about his new found notoriety. What an ASS.

So, I will still be dropping in to see how all my Tiger friends on here are doing. I hope you team is as confident in a blowout as some of the fans on this board are. All Florida needs now is for Corso and Herbstreit to pick LSU "BIGTIME". ha ha ha Florida is sure to win the upset then!!!! ha ha ha Go Gators!!!

Keep your eyes for two types of penalties that fl. seemed to get away with last week (enough so one AU coach remarked that there was no mystery as to why urban was undefeated at home (up to that point:) )).

Illegal motion, the backs often move toward the line before the snap and are not called on it...

Pushing off, the fl players find it a great way to get separation.

<Shakes head and rolls eyes> Sigh. And how many say that about the refs at Tiger Stadium? And at every other tough stadium in the country. Come on....

Dude - with all due respect to my fellow Tiger fanatic - what part of dual quarterback system are you not getting? If RP plays the first play, then Miles/Crowton play their offensive scheme as planned, would that make you happy?

This is much ado about nothing. We have two studs at QB. If Flynn gets and stays healthy, he'll get much respect in the national media and from NFL scouts for his mobility, size, poise, and leadership. And I think his stats will improve along with his ankle.

RP will eclipse Timah Tebow next year as a Junior. But that's then. This is now. RP will have a GREAT game against the Gators. So will Flynn. Book it.

Michigan is such a union dominated state, and those exposed to that mentality for so many years may let it carry over to even their coaching philosophy---the seniority thing, I mean. If you've put your years in, you're going to get the starting and majority playing time nod, even if you're not the most productive or talented, i.e. Justin Vincent last year, and XXXX XXXXX (we won't use any name here!) the last 2 weeks. We all have our value system that cannot be separated from true reality, and in big time college football, winning is true reality. Let's play to win.

I am not talking about the particularly egregious calls that happen at every stadium, the fine folk here know very well of calls that occurred at Jordan-Hare that raised a few eyebrows also. It is the continual overlooking of infractions that makes it seem procedural.

It is humorous that a gator in particular responds to my post. I remember prior to Auburn's first game in the O'Connell Center that fl. had activities planned on court. This prevented AU from having our alloted practice on the game site. The auxiliary gym to which we were sent had goals lowered to 9 foot.

Why is it humorous that a Gator would respond to the post? I have been in this Forum since the beginning of the week having great conversations with LSU fans. No hater-aide or anything of the sort, just constructive discussions before a big game.

What I find humorous is that you sound as if you are trying to make excuses before the game. Why? LSU is a heavy favorite to win this game. The LSU team and fans SHOULD be confident as they have a GREAT football team this year and Florida certainly seems to be struggling both on and off the field right now.

Also....are you an Auburn fan or and LSU fan? If you're an Auburn fan....why are you here? you beat Florida....your team played better and deserved the win....doesnt Auburn have a game against Vanderbilt this week?

And when did this become a discussion about basketball? The O'Connell Center??? 9-ft hoops??? (which, btw are not uncommon in a campus gym where many students just play around....nor is it uncommon for there to be activities to be held on the court before a big game)

But if you want basketball, OK...is it your intention to say that had AU been able to practice on the court, they would have beat Florida? I assume you are referring to the game from the 2005-06 season, since last year's game was played at Auburn. The final score of that game was 69-57, Florida. The Gators (on their way to winning the first of its back-to-back National Titiles) extended its record to 16-0 (3-0 SEC) and Auburn fell to 8-6 (0-3 SEC). So are you saying that the Auburn basketball team just needed some more time on the court to practice and they would have won?

How about we talk about football? And why not stick to this week's games? And since this is the "Official LSU vs Florida Game Thread"....why not talk about that?

LSU Fans....it has been great this week discussing the game with you. For the most part, you have all been incredibly friendly and knowledgable and I have enjoyed our discussions immensely. However, it appears I have worn out my welcome and so, instead of making myself (and my team) look bad....I will simply bow out and return the board to the LSU faithful.

A sincere good luck this week. I hope its a great game (and not a blowout of my Gators!). I stick by my original predicted score of 35-24 LSU.

    Go Gators!!! Go SEC!!!
