Outside D Mitchell and Tack Minor that span the last 4 years or so
when was the last time we had a guard other than these guys?

Yep, seems to be the only guard the last 3 or 4 years besides
Temple.
Seems like we had this problem last year with guard play?
D Mitchell saved our butts at time but man.

Heck, I am not bashing Brady and I hope he is the most
successful coach at LSU the next 20 years besides Miles.
Just wish he could resolve this issue somehow?

 

Voogd needs to get his confidence up. He doesn't have a bad shot and he is quick. He passed the ball out too much when he has an open shot.

 

Anyone hear the postgame interview Jim had with CJB? He apologized for not putting Voogd back in. He admits his heart and instinct said to go with that, but his head said to put in someone who had played in more clutch situations. He took full responsibilty for the loss- he believes (though didn't directly say it) we would have won had Voogd been in there.

 

Great D, allowing 70 points. True, we didn't do hot either, but we played with 600 forwards.

also, if it's possible the next time the seats get re-done to make them a little smaller. i've always dreamed of the PMAC to be packed with people 5 ft 3 and smaller.

 

I can understand putting temple in... voogd came off the bench and gave them a spark that a backup pg is supposed to, but temple's defense is undeniable...

steele is a clutch player, and you want to take that threat away from alabama down the stretch... not to mention you want to take away the 3 point shot with good perimeter defense..

it didn't work, it sucked, and temple may have cost us the game, but im a bardy hater and I can see WHY he did what he did...

 

no answer for davidson defensively... that is what lost the game for us..
