College Gameday is coming to Auburn for the LSU game. http://blog.al.com/goldmine/2008/09/gameday_coming_to_auburn_for_l.html Interestingly, it will be the first time College GameDay has done the Auburn/LSU game (they planned on doing the Auburn/LSU game of 2004, but it didn't happen because the game got rescheduled because of Hurricane Ivan). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_(football) Anyway, this should be a good one. It will be only the third time in history that both Auburn and LSU were in the Top 10 when they met (it also happened in 1972 and 2006). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auburn_LSU_rivalry
AHHHH. Chill out dude, didn't mean anything towards you personally, was just making a point. Sorry if I offended you.
I can't wait until Saturday night!!! It will be a tight, close, low scoring game as usual. I just hope a different Hatch and Lee show up Saturday...ones that are more confident and smarter will help.
If it weren't Auburn, I'd say that they don't stand a chance. Our offense...as pedestrian as our QB play has been...is still LIGHT YEARS over MSU, and I refuse to believe that our D isn't better than theirs, with or without Beckwith. Unless AU chooses this game to come out of its shell, we should score at least 17-21 and pitch a shutout in the process. BUT, it's Auburn. And weird things happen with Auburn. One thing I certainly hope DOESN'T happen is for them to beat us and then implode on the rest of the season, ala Tennessee in 2005...following a hurricane.
No problem, I've had a short fuse lately. I've worked at least 12 hours every day in 15 of the last 16 days. Throw in two 16 hr shifts and two 14 hr shifts. Sorry for being an arse. I should take out my frustrations on mods instead. Where's grad? ***group hug***
I'm definitely looking forward to Saturday night. Auburn-LSU has become my favorite game of the season. The games have just been so crazy and unpredictable the last fifteen years or so. We definitely need to get a LOT of work done on offense this week. We played poorly on offense the first week, improved a bit the second week, then regressed horribly last week against Miss State. If we play like we did on Saturday, y'all are going to win. Our D is nasty and I'm hoping to hear a lot from Tray Blackmon, Antonio Coleman and Sen'Derrick Marks. Hopefully we can find some kind of rhythm on offense, our defense can keep us in the game and we can get lucky on a few big plays.
I think,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ONE of our QB'S will have to show his gameface Saturday. I KNOW our defense can keep us in the game. I hope Auburn plays as well as they did last weekend. I was shocked at how poorly they played. I'm sure they're better than they looked then. On the other hand,,,,,,,,,,,if we smoke em, and it is a possibility (we haven't really seen our QB's face adversity), we'll be so far up the polls, it'll be unreal. This is the game of the week. We WILL find out who we are this Saturday. I'm STOKED for this game. My bar is COMPLETELY stocked. Let's go. :crystal: 3rd one on the mantle
