Great game by the LSU players, pitiful game by the offensive coaching staff and an absolute shameful game by the officials!!!!!
helluva game. hats off to the barners. no crying, no excuses, no whining. :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU!
LSU should've been going for a field goal and a 9-7 win at the death. That play reversal on Hester in the 1st half came back to bite LSU. Thanks, SEC officials, for another uneventful trip to the Plains.
The officiating sucked but the season isn't over. The sky isn't falling. There's plenty of football left. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!
Huh? Total Yards: LSU 309, AU 181. No, the officials screwed LSU. Yes, they didn't get in the endzone...partially thanks to the officials, though. No, this is the worst set of officials I've seen in a long time. It reminds me of the group that handed Florida the game in Knoxville that time.
Oh well. Things we could have done better, officiating could have been better, but this was against the #3 team in the country. This is SEC football and for the privilege of getting to watch these kinds of match ups every weekend we have to expect a loss from time to time against a tough competitor. Exciting finish.
Normally I would agree but that was the most horses***officiating I have ever seen. I want something explained to us all: if a defender making contact with the ball negates pass interference, even if the penalty occurs before the ball contact, why did our interception at the beginning of the quarter not count?
