Official LSU vs. Arkansas Game Thread

But, is it not a short week for them to prepare for our offense as well?

 

I am so excited about this game. Typically, this game is very low key as far as the crowd goes depending on what is on the line.

This game is going to be like the game in 2003. The fans will be into this one the entire way.

 

Heck, I am anxious to see everyone Friday morning. What time is Team Katt and their monkey mascot JJ getting things started?

 

Looking at the Ole Miss game, there are definately some things we have to work on.

OFFENSE

Crowton needs to come up with a more aggressive, competative game plan. The vanilla offense we saw last night will not suffice against Arkansas.

We still need a lot of work on the penalty problem, but that has been an on-going problem for three years and I do not expect to see any change this year.

DEFENSE

The Tiger pass defense stunk last night. The coaches need to look at that aspect of the game and make some adjustments. Specifically, we need to put more pressure on the QB and cover the receivers much better than we did against Ole Miss. The defense as a whole has been in a state of decline since the first few weeks of the season.

Penalties: Same as above.

Special teams play: That has been a problem all year and I don't expect to see any improvement for the remainder of the year - and not next year either unless Coach Peveto is given his walking papers. But he and Miles are good buddies, so don't expect that to happen.

 

I can't think of a better way to celebrate Thanksgiving. Turkey on Thursday and fried pork on Friday. Pig its what's for dinner.:thumb:

I don't know if I'd put it ALL on Peveto--remember he's just an assistant ST coach. He's still our linebackers coach and I think he's doing fine with our LBs. I think a better solution would be to get a dedicated STs coach. Just my opinion.

 

Well I wish I was coming to the game, but have to work, I am hoping whatever the outcome is that McFadden has a big day, he is a excellent ball player and with our record his chances of winning the Heisman are low, but you never know a good game can change all of that, and yea we could need a new coach unless the big upset is pulled off.

I went to our game against Miss State and it seems everyone is in sinc and they played very well and they are playing for the coach, anyway lets all hope for a great game

Poor Razorback fans have alot of issues with their team. Some of you may have seen this, some may not have. I myself, had to walk away from puter to get fresh air from laughing so much.
