thought mitchell couldve tried to play some type of defense instead of watching...still an underthrown ball though
It looks like the LSU coaches are giving JJ every chance to get his arm in gear. However, LSU doesn't have a guy that can run a pro-style offense. Just go to a spread offense with lots of QB keepers mixed in and know that's the best chance for the offense to thrive.
He just doesn't know when to put touch and when to let it fly. You don't HAVE to be a long ball passer to be an effective QB.
They are mixing it up real well. Throwing short. Screens. Dives. Throwing downfield and pitches. Crowton and Miles are dialing up big-play calls. We're just not connecting on them yet. But at least we're showing more.
