why is it when i try to talk about sports, or your opinions about sports, you want to talk about me?

let me direct the talk away from me, and back towards basketball: what do you think are the odds lsu makes the tournament, and if they made the sweet 16 would you still favor firing brady?

i would be for keeping him.

martin, you are so stupid...I swear, man...The reason I'm castigating you is because you ask questions you obviously already know the answers to. I have made very direct and openly accessible answers to these questions, and they're easy to find.

If you feel I'm personally attacking you, then perhaps you should just realize I'm tired of answering stupid questions, and I find the ones you talk about stupid, so I'm not answering, and instead labeling you a "master of the obvious" and so on and so forth...

As for a Sweet 16 run...Who cares...Brady is unhealthy for the long term success of the team. He erodes depth not through injuries or bad luck, but creates his attrition through his own treatment of his players.

He recruits poorly, continually deflects criticism and mistakes onto underlings and/or players (DOCUMENTABLE and verifiable proof-UGA home game where he blamed Thomas Davis SINGULARLY for losing the game)...along with a laundry list of OTHER issues I've hashed and rehashed here for you and others...

What I find most entertaining is that you continue to ask ridiculous questions you feign ignorance as to the answers of, and yet when someone here on this site offered to PM or talk to you over the telephone and actually hear first hand about the shortcomings of Brady not only as a recruiter, but as a head coach, you DECLINED OUTRIGHT, and backed away...Your display there was all I needed to know...

You amuse me, martin...and I get a kick out of your attempts to honestly disucss the situation...People come to you with situations you cannot or choose not to listen to and/or lend credence to...You stick your head in the sand when it comes to the professionalism and ability to perform the job of this man...Yet you continually try to talk credibly and objectively about it...

I'll give you the man recruits well...I'll give you that at one time, his coaching chops were above reproach (His up-tempo theory this year was idiotic considering his lack of interior size/depth and overall depth issues, though)...

You, however, fail to concede anything, have said that I've "made up" the Regis Koundjia leaving incident (Which later came out to be true; thanks for impugning my integrity as a poster, whatever little exists), and outright REFUSED to hear first-hand information you continually say you don't know anything about in order to help you make a murky opinion more clear...

Why would you think for an instant I'd take you seriously or in any way do anything in a conversation on the subject with you that wasn't cynical or merely just to bust your chops? You remain willingly ignorant in the face of information you claim you don't know about but are continually offered access to.

You don't want to discuss it...You don't really want to...You want to try to avoid knowing the truth, or admitting that underneath it all, your support of this man is folly...

Dress it up...Cast aspersions...Misconstrue meaning...The bottom line is that you are willfully ignorant, and actively seek to remain that way, so your conversation is truly pointless on this subject...I respond to you in order to balance your willful ignorance with time-tested, verifiable, fact based information that supports my supposition in opposition to your murky fuzzy ridiculous support...

A National Championship would not make me support him, martin, and no response from you would make me think you're an objective voice in a conversation on this topic...Confused? Re-read...

you could have just answered: "yes, i would like brady fired even if he went to the final four". would have been simpler. i see you still prefer to talk about me.

    thanks. but about basketball.....

i set my cut-off at the second round of the tournament. i would fire brady if he loses in the first round, but keep him if he wins that game. i think that is a fair goal to expect brady to attain.

gumborue, i know you are an optimistic brady supporter, what would prompt you fire brady? would you fire him if he cant make the sweet 16?

Martin, I could have used the final four, but I did not. What difference does it make?

(P.S.-->We know you don't either, but make one up really quick so you can continue to try to project your image of condescending omega intelligence on us)

(P.P.S.-->If you cannot be counted on to talk objectively, then is my reasoning behind the decision NOT to now not germane? Who made this decision? Again, you have a nasty habit for setting board protocol with a series of martin-esque synapse firings)

wow! i seemed to have missed much of the brady bashing. ive only been around here since just before the NC, and somewhat sparsely at times. i havent lived in La for 10 years. there is evidently much crap about brady i dont know. i remember the thomas davis remark, it was regrettable, but forgiveable if it doesnt happen again. if numerous incidents like this have happened (i guess they need to be worse than this--because this/these remarks dont seem to have affected his recruiting) then he should be fired. but then maybe skip should be fired for not firing brady. surely, if you and other posters are privy to this info than so is skip. this the second most important program. maybe you put up with crap if its not so bad and not so publicized IF he's winning.wtf

there are rumors. but i think the saban rumors taught us all quite a lesson about rumors. i think to be fair we should judge brady on what we know to be true about him. and i realize he hasnt put together a great program, so that is why i favor firing him if he doesnt do something impressive late this season.

it depends on the severity of the trash hes done. as i just posted, you can put up with it if he wins. i'd say he should have been fired before the season, but he wasnt and it seems many of us agree that he shouldnt be fired midseason. if he got to the final 8 i would reconsider my current (and new) opinion. that would be one hell of a coaching job to get this team there. id say better than any of dale's miracles
